PLAN- The old saying goes “Fail to plan, Plan to fail” The best advice I give you before leaving for a long trip is to MEAL PREP. You should prep as much food as possible. If you don’t know how to meal prep I WILL be providing you with insightful information soon!
EDUCATE – You must educate yourself on proper nutrition and what’s most cost effective. Many snacks may be healthy in an airport but they may also cost you an arm and a leg. It’s important to know how to read the basic nutritional labels. You should know how to read and interpret FATS, CARBS, PROTEINS. If you are still unsure, please subscribe to my FREE newsletter on the homepage to my website www.gravfitt.com . When you join, I will provide you with a FREE copy to my Fitness Cook Book. You will find the detailed solution in this BOOK!
REST– It is very important to travel when you are well rested and have a clear mind. Without proper rest you are more incline to making poor decisions.
TRACK- Once you understand how to read nutritional facts and the importance of macronutrients then suggest you download the app MyFitnessPal. This app allows you to track almost any you eat. It provides you with proper guidance so you don’t exceed your caloric intake!
INNOVATION- Remember diet is key but without the proper exercise you’re incomplete! I realize that a lot of hotels don’t supply gyms. However, you should get creative and do calisthenic (body weight) hotel room workout. Calisthenic exercises include push ups, body weight squats, burpees, blanks chair dips (I will be releasing a hotel room workout soon) STAY TUNED.
