Mindset is the undeniably the greatest need for getting fit and changing your life. Having the “right mindset” is what will get you to your end goal. And without the right mindset, any goal will seem impossible to achieve.

So how do you determine or what is the “Right mindset”

Let’s break it down.

Your actions and behaviors are the end results of an internal motivator or driver. Many people can go an entire lifetime without even seeing this. So many people know what they need to do, yet the lack the ability to take action. And when they do take action they do it in the wrong way and try to change their actions and behaviors first. They try to align themselves with better intentions. But fail to do so because they don’t realize their actions and behaviors come from ONE internal source. To change their actions and behaviors they must first change the origin. This thing is known as the “internal motivator” or “internal driver”.

Drivers cause behaviors. They are more important then behaviors. It’s about changing habits, to then change behaviors to then alter actions.

But how do you do this?

In other words, you have to examine the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is the common dominator of them all. It controls everything. From how you and I perceive a situation, interpret events, to the actions, behaviors, we hold. It’s why we do these things.

Now the unconscious mind is different to the other two. Let me explain everything for you to understand better.

Unconscious mind

The unconscious mind consists of primitive wishes as well as the information that you cannot access. (Think of this as the internal hard drive of your life.) Everything is stored here. Your behaviors may have an unconscious force that drives them, but you don’t have easy access to the information stored here. This is the unconscious mind.

For example, during your childhood experiences you gained memories that formed who you are today. However, you cannot recall most of those memories. These are the beliefs, patterns, map of reality that drive your behaviors.

Conscious mind

The conscious mind is your awareness in the present moment. You are aware of something on the outside as well as some specific mental functions happening on the inside.

For example, you are aware of your environment, your breathing, or the chair that you are sitting on.

Subconscious mind

The subconscious mind consists of accessible information. You can become aware of this information once you direct your attention to it. Think of this as memory recall.

For example,Have you ever driven somewhere and said how did I get here when I was thinking of something else the whole time? This is because the subconscious mind got you here. You can think and still arrive somewhere in a safe manner.

“You create your own life story through 4 factors. You first start by being influenced. You then form a perception, which you then carry a belief that you accept and form an expectation.”

In other words, you and I have always been influenced since day one. You and I have also built our perceptions, which have created a belief pattern, and lead us to the exceptions we hold.

The way you look at the world is the way it is. And the way you’re influenced is the way your world is shaped…
